How the Perfect Derma Peel works

The Perfect Derma Peel® is a medical-grade, medium-depth chemical peel that works by gently exfoliating the outer layers of the skin to stimulate cellular turnover and collagen production. Its unique blend of acids, antioxidants, and skin-brightening ingredients targets fine lines, uneven tone, acne, and pigmentation while improving overall texture and clarity. As old, damaged skin sheds over several days, healthier, smoother, and more radiant skin is revealed—making it a powerful treatment with visible results after just one peel and even greater benefits with a series.

Perfect Derma Peel Boosters (Optional Add-Ons)

Plus Booster

Designed to enhance brightening and anti-aging results, the Plus Booster intensifies pigment correction and collagen stimulation—ideal for sun damage, melasma, and uneven skin tone.

Plus Plus Booster

Our most powerful option for stubborn pigmentation and advanced aging concerns, the Plus Plus Booster delivers deeper correction and more dramatic results for patients needing an extra level of resurfacing.

Clear Acne Booster

Formulated specifically for acne-prone and congested skin, this booster helps reduce active breakouts, calm inflammation, and improve post-acne discoloration.

Boosters are optional add-ons and can be customized based on your skin goals and provider recommendations to optimize your results.

What to Expect

The Perfect Derma Peel® is applied in-office and takes about 15–20 minutes. Most patients experience mild tingling or warmth during application. Peeling typically begins 2–3 days after treatment and can last 3–7 days, depending on skin type and whether a booster is used. During this time, the skin will shed as new, healthier skin emerges. Improvements in tone, texture, clarity, and brightness are usually noticeable within one week, with continued enhancement over the following weeks. Downtime is minimal, but patients should avoid excessive sun exposure and follow post-care instructions closely.

How Often Should You Get a Perfect Derma Peel?

For general skin rejuvenation and maintenance, treatments are typically recommended every 3–6 months. For concerns such as acne, pigmentation, melasma, or uneven texture, a series of peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart may be advised to achieve optimal results. Your provider will customize the treatment frequency based on your skin goals, concerns, and response to treatment.

Chemical Peel FAQs

Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, waxing, laser treatments, and tanning (including self-tanner) for 5–7 days before treatment. Sunburned or irritated skin should be fully healed prior to your peel.

Chemical peels are not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active skin infections, open wounds, severe eczema/psoriasis in the treatment area, or a known allergy to peel ingredients. A history of poor wound healing or recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use may also require postponement.

Peeling typically begins 2–3 days after treatment and can last 3–7 days. During this time, skin may feel tight, dry, or flaky. Most patients can resume normal daily activities but should avoid excessive sun exposure.

Yes—visible peeling is expected with medium-depth peels like the Perfect Derma Peel®, though the degree varies by skin type and whether a booster is used. Peeling should never be picked or forced.

Makeup should be avoided for at least 24 hours after treatment. Once peeling begins, mineral makeup may be used sparingly if the skin is not irritated, but many patients prefer to let the skin heal naturally.

Most patients experience mild tingling, warmth, or stinging during application, which subsides quickly. The peel is generally very well tolerated and does not require numbing.

Post-care includes gentle cleansing, frequent moisturizing, strict sun avoidance, and daily SPF use. Active products (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) should be avoided until peeling is complete and the skin has fully healed. A post care kit is provided.

Possibly. Patients with well-controlled autoimmune conditions may be candidates, but treatment is not recommended during active flares or with certain skin-involved autoimmune diseases. A consultation is required to determine safety and appropriateness.
